Coaching With Me
Most of my work is now done over Zoom, allowing you to engage in coaching from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a reliable internet connection, some privacy for our session, and perhaps a comforting cuppa!
I'll be in my home office, which is very private and allows me to focus completely on you. I recall when I was first training as a coach, my supervisor suggested I do some of my sessions on line... Back then, (it was pre-COVID days), I thought how ludicrous! I NEED to be in the room with my clients for the session to be successful for them! How wrong I was. I honestly now believe that it is even easier to establish a comfortable rapport on screen.

Deep listening during our session allows you the space to gain clarity on the issues you bring and to move forward with confidence.

As a coach, I will listen, ask questions and reflect back what I've heard, we work together to help you to find your own solutions.
My solutions or your partner or best friends solutions are not necessarily the right ones for you. We will find yours!
We may use a blend of models and theories to deepen your understanding of self, alongside personal exploration and reflection. We may also use journal prompts if this works for you.
Together, we’ll consider the ‘what’ 'when' 'where' 'why and ‘how’ of your next steps, moving forward in a way that feels right for you.

With over 20 years of management experience and an MSc in Leadership, I understand the unique pressures and complexities that come with leadership roles. In addition to team and service leadership, I have worked in Corporate roles, including Service Improvement, Service Transformation and as an Organisational Development Specialist.

Emotional Freedom Technique
EFT is gentle and powerful and backed by science.
Research has shown that EFT works by reducing cortisol levels, helps to instil a sense of calm and supports overall health and well-being.
It is also a powerful technique to support the processing and healing of trauma, fears and phobias, as well as shifting limiting beliefs.
Self limiting beliefs are negative statements that prevent you from doing things. They are often based on assumptions and unconscious narratives that we have created earlier in our lives. They may have served us once to keep us safe and loved but they are no longer needed.
They often look and sound like this:
I'm not good enough
I'm not worthy of...
I don't have enough time
This is too hard
I'm not ready for this
Most people have negative beliefs, they are quite normal... BUT.... If they are dictating your future and holding you back EFT is a really useful tool.

EFT Techniques
I often suggest using EFT Tapping alongside traditional coaching to help release self-limiting beliefs that may be unconsciously holding us back from moving forwards
"EFT or “Tapping” is a body/mind self-help method that is easy to learn and flexible enough to be used by anyone. It involves tapping with fingertips on acupuncture points on the hands, face and body while giving focused attention to uncomfortable thoughts and feelings.
When we are willing to face negative emotions like guilt, hurt, fear or anger while tapping (instead of trying to fight them or push them away), we can experience surprising relief. After just a few rounds of EFT tapping, for example, people often report feeling lighter, calmer and able to breathe more easily.
